Space commercialization is a fascinating journey from Cold War geopolitics to billion-dollar tech startups.
Space exploration started as a state-driven effort by the US and Soviet Union during the Cold War, with the launch of the very first satellite 1957.
Recently, the New Space Revolution has taken off, Space-X has changed the game and Private funding has exploded, leading to a lot of new start-up companies.
But what do we really mean by space commercialization; who are the customers and how can we best make business in the space domain?
That is what this session is about and hopefully our speakers can help answering these questions.
In addition to the Rymdforum conference from May 4th to 6th, the entire week will be filled with space-themed activities, lectures, music and entertainment for both residents and visitors. This Space Week will in many ways enhance both Trollhättan and Sweden’s standing in this field.
