Rymdforum – The Swedish Space Conference 2025 is an international conference organized by the non-profit organization Rymdforum. The association´s aims and endeavors is to spread knowledge about Swedish and international space activities.
Rymdforum 2025 is hosted by the City of Trollhättan and GKN Aerospace, in cooperation with University West and Innovatum Science Park. The conference will take place in Trollhättan, an hour away from Gothenburg
The proposed theme, ’Sweden – A New Space Era,’ aligns well with our industry and enables many exciting presentations conveying messages that resonate with Rymdforum’s objectives
Space activity is rapidly evolving towards the new paradigm of ’New Space.’ We see this trend not only in other nations but also in organizations such as the EU and ESA.
Sweden as a nation, recognize numerous opportunities for societal needs, innovation, growth, and scientific discoveries.

We are excited to announce Katti Hofflin as the moderator for Space Forum 2025. As an experienced cultural leader and communicator, Katti brings a fresh and dynamic perspective to this year’s conference. For the past six years, she has served as the Director of Culture for the Västra Götaland Region, leading cultural initiatives across one of Sweden’s most vibrant regions.
Katti’s unique background makes her an extraordinary choice for moderating a space conference. Before her current role, she held leadership positions at some of Sweden’s most prominent cultural institutions, including Kulturhuset Stockholm, Dunkers Kulturhus, and Stockholm Public Library, where she was the City Librarian
Adding a creative dimension, Katti has spent two decades as a program host for Swedish Radio and Television, where she worked on culture and entertainment programming. She’s also an accomplished musician, composer, and children’s book author, with a deep fascination for space—a passion so profound she even wrote a song about the cosmos!
As a humanist with an MBA from the Stockholm School of Economics, Katti combines intellectual depth with artistic flair, ensuring engaging and thought-provoking dialogue throughout the conference.

In addition to the Rymdforum conference from May 4th to 6th, the entire week will be filled with space-themed activities, lectures, music and entertainment for both residents and visitors. This Space Week will in many ways enhance both Trollhättan and Sweden’s standing in this field.
