Jens Hoeijmakers is an expert on the observation of exoplanet atmospheres using the world’s most advanced telescopes.
He studies the climates and compositions of the hottest, most extreme gas giant planets to learn more about how planets form and evolve; and how we can best carry out observations of smaller rocky planets in the future with the biggest telescopes that are currently under construction.
In addition to the Rymdforum conference from May 4th to 6th, the entire week will be filled with space-themed activities, lectures, music and entertainment for both residents and visitors. This Space Week will in many ways enhance both Trollhättan and Sweden’s standing in this field.
