Jérôme Breteau is Head of the Future Space Transportation Systems Preparation Team at the European Space Agency (ESA). With a background in aerospace engineering and over two decades at ESA, he leads the development of next-generation space transportation concepts that will shape Europe’s future access to space.
His work is central to ESA’s long-term strategy for innovation, sustainability and autonomy in launch systems. At Rymdforum 2025, Jérôme will share key insights on the future of space transportation and Europe’s role in the evolving global landscape.
In addition to the Rymdforum conference from May 4th to 6th, the entire week will be filled with space-themed activities, lectures, music and entertainment for both residents and visitors. This Space Week will in many ways enhance both Trollhättan and Sweden’s standing in this field.
