ESA BIC Sweden is an incubator for space related startups in Sweden, that this year celebrates its 10 Years Anniversary. ESA BIC Sweden has, since the start in 2015 selected 67 startups for incubation. ESA BIC Sweden is led by Arctic Business in cooperation with Uppsala Innovation Centre, Innovatum Science Park and Ideon Science Park. The four incubators covers all of Sweden and offers up to two year of incubation to selected ESA BIC Sweden startups.
ESA BIC Sweden is cofunded by ESA, SNSA and VINNOVA.
The four incubators are also cooperating and evolving the new space sector in Sweden through the recently started Space Sweden project.
In addition to the Rymdforum conference from May 4th to 6th, the entire week will be filled with space-themed activities, lectures, music and entertainment for both residents and visitors. This Space Week will in many ways enhance both Trollhättan and Sweden’s standing in this field.
